Celebrate the Summer Solstice at Sycamore Hill in Marcellus, one of Central New York’s Most Stunning Gardens! All proceeds benefit CNY Land Trust in its work to protect local natural areas. June blooms at Sycamore Hill!
Join us for a spring wildflower identification walk at Friendship Woods led by local botanist, Joe McMullen. This CNY Land Trust preserve offers a nice mix of wetlands and upland forest habitats with many spring wildflowers. Trees and shrubs common to the diverse forests in this area will also be covered.
Come out to get to know the birds of Great Bear and how you can protect where they live! CNY Land Trust volunteer Matt Young, Collections Management Leader at the Macaulay Library, Cornell Lab of Ornithology, will lead the walk. This event is free and open to the public.
