date: Monday, July 27, 2015
time: 5:30-7:30 pm
location: Trailhead of the Riverwalk Nature Preserve, Wood Duck Path, Brewerton, New York*
Build your understanding of basic principles of ecology, while enjoying the new trail at Riverwalk Nature Preserve!
Do you ever wonder what makes the unique natural environments of Central New York tick? Join Central New York Land Trust for an informal evening workshop to learn from top-notch environmental scientists in our Central New York community. Don’t worry, it won’t be too technical – the aim is to learn and have fun, so we can better understand and care for the beautiful places around us!
Please bring a water bottle, and dress for the outdoors – wearing bug repellent is advised. This workshop is free and open to the community.
*To reach the Riverwalk Nature Preserve Trailhead, turn onto White Tail Path from Guy Young Road, west of Brewerton. Then take a right on Wolf Tree Path – the trailhead is to the right. Park along Wood Duck Path.
