Out of the meeting room and into the wild! In lieu of monthly meetings, the Stewardship Committee is hosting a series of Wednesday Evening Walks at CNY Land Trust preserves. Walk information will be posted a week or more ahead. Walks are rain or shine and begin at 5:30 p.m.
FINAL SUMMER WALK: Three Falls in Manlius Sept 18, 2019, 5:30 pm
THREE FALLS: Come out and join Steward Phil as we explore this newish preserve, find the three falls, and enjoy the late Summer-early Autumn woods. We hope the new parking area will be ready before then, so directions and parking information will follow. See you there!
Ripley Hill! We explored this wonderful preserve on July 24. Parking was available along the shoulder of the road. This preserve is 119 acres in the Town of Spafford. Access is from Ripley Hill Rd., or Finger Lakes Land Trust Hinchcliff Preserve on Rt 41.
At 1,968 feet, this preserve contains the highest point in the Skaneateles Lake watershed and the third highest point in Onondaga county.
